Position Summary:
Ash & Elm Cider Co. is seeking a full-time and part time Line Cooks to prepare food to exact specifications and to set up stations for the daily menu. Line Cook duties will consist of assisting the kitchen manager with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. Weekend availability is required. Weekday availability in addition to weekend availability is preferred.
Essential Functions:

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, slicing meat, or preparing sauces) according to prescribed specifications.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Work with a sense of urgency at all times.
• Answer, report to, and follow kitchen manager’s instructions.
• Clean up stations and take care of leftover food.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Assisting servers and bartenders with opening and closing duties, as needed.
• Participate in a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
• Performing other responsibilities as assigned.

The employee must occasionally lift or move a minimum of 20 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
Compensation and benefits

• This position pays $16.00-$19.00 per hour.
• Part-time employees have a flexible schedule, time-and-a-half holiday pay, and an employee discount.
