Job Purpose

Assist SH in Organizing, coordinating and monitor timely completion of all the activities pertaining to WHRS at optimum cost.

Sewagram Cement Works ( SCW ) is a unit of Ultra Tech Cement Limited – one of the leading cement producers globally . With an Installed capacity 5.0 MTPA of grey Cement , SCW is located near village Vayor, Dist: Kutch, Gujarat.
The mineable limestone reserves in the area are about 389 million tonnes. These reserves can support the plant for more than 60 years. The entire area of mining lease is occupied by the craggy outcrops of Narji Limestone with thin local patches of reddish brown soil, rich in lateritic gravel

Mining Methodology:
The mining operations are carried out by fully-mechanized opencast method. There is no over burden except for a few cm of top soil mixed with inertial rejects which is removed before opening of the limestone benches.
About Limestone Mining:
Our captive mines are located at a distance of about 2.5 km from the plant. Loading and transportation of blasted material is being carried out by combination of Hydraulic excavator and dumpers. Development of over-burden benches of mining faces and provision of adequate sump capacity is being made to ensure continuous supply of desired quality and quantity of limestone to the plant.

Having good experience of Erection and commissioning of Turbine and its auxiliaries, Air cooled condenser. Must have experience of project engineering like equipment and drawings review / finalization.

Plant maintenance and troubleshooting

Having good hands on working experience on waste heat recovery system low pressure Turbines ,Compressors, Turbine supervisory system, governing system Having expertise in their maintenance and fast troubleshooting.

Execution of project in Budgeted cost

Implementation of ISO, WCM and safety standards

Shift Operation

Able to work as shift engineer for smooth shift operation for minimizing breakdown.

Quality Assurance

Monitor the quality of erection and work execution .
Monitor the quality of material receipt as per PO

Safety & statutory compliance

Carrying out Safety Observations , reporting and investigating Near miss incidents
Identifying & rectify unsafe points & unsafe practice. Training to staff/workmen on safety
Ensure completion of Project with zero incident

Qualifications:

Diploma In Civil Engineering,Master of Civil Engineering

Minimum Experience Level:
5-10 Years
