- Lead and manage a team of pipefitters and laborers. Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team members adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of pipe installation with other construction activities.
- Oversee daily operations on the job site, including managing workflow, scheduling tasks, and ensuring that materials and tools are available and in good condition.
- Monitor work progress and inspect installations to ensure compliance with blueprints, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Address and rectify any issues or defects promptly.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure all team members are trained on safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered. Prepare daily reports and communicate updates to project managers.
- Identify and resolve any problems or obstacles that may arise during installation. Collaborate with team members to develop effective solutions.
- Site development including pipe laying, grading, foundation/footings and general concrete work.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipe installation and management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment related to pipe installation.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Relevant certifications or training in pipefitting and construction management preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials, up to 90 pounds. Must be able to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.

Other Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record
- May be required to obtain a CDL license
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical for driving company vehicles
- Must be willing to travel periodically and be able to work within a non-structured schedule (long hours, weekends etc.)
- Adaptable to changing work assignments
