EY- Assurance – Lead Associate
As part of our EY-Assurance Team, you will be carrying out routine substantive and controls-based procedures from the GDS India offices supporting the various Global client serving assurance teams mostly based in the Americas & European countries.


The opportunity
We’re looking for candidates with exposure in accounting and assurance concepts. The incumbent gets an excellent opportunity to work virtually or directly with the engagement teams across Americas and Europe and develop knowledge of international accounting and assurance principles.


Your key responsibilities

• Be responsible for delivering highest quality deliverables on assurance related tasks which comply to EY Global methodology.
• To impart technical and non-technical training and learning sessions.
• Responsible for coaching and mentoring Associates and Advanced associates.
• Leading calls with EY onshore teams to discuss work related issues, providing updates and discuss development on the engagement.
• Responsible for first level review of deliverables prepared by Associates and Advanced Associates.
• Contribute ideas for improvement by comparing efficiency of review procedures performed across different clients.
• Develop knowledge of use of EY technology and tools to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• B.com Graduates with 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and assurance concepts.
• ACCA / CPA with 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and assurance concepts.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Proficiency in MS – Excel, MS – Office.
• Interest in business and commerciality.
