KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Financial Management:
● Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
● Analyze financial performance, identify areas for cost optimization, and make strategic recommendations.
● Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial goals and strategies.
Taxation & Compliance:
● Ensure full compliance with tax laws, including GST filing, refunds, and TDS management.
● Monitor tax planning strategies and regulatory changes to minimize tax liabilities.
● Oversee timely filing of all statutory taxes, including income tax, GST, and other statutory obligations.
Audit & Internal Controls:
● Coordinate and lead the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
● Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
● Conduct internal financial audits and reviews to identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
Budgeting & Financial Planning:
● Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets in coordination with the management team.
● Conduct periodic financial reviews and variance analysis to keep the company on track with financial targets.
● Provide detailed cash flow management and ensure optimal liquidity management for the business.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
● Ensure timely and accurate closure of monthly and annual financial statements.
● Provide detailed financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic recommendations to management.
● Ensure full compliance with all relevant accounting standards and corporate policies.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
● Education: CA/ICWA/MBA in Finance or Accounting.
● Experience: 6-7 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
● Extensive knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
● Proven experience in leading and coordinating audits and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
● Strong command over financial tools and software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel).
● Ability to provide strategic insight and drive financial growth initiatives.
● Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
● Prior experience in the fashion or retail industry is advantageous.
