Senior Back-End .NET Software Engineer

Job Overview: You will report directly to the Director of Engineering. We are looking for a passionate Back-End Developer who will embrace the opportunity to work with and learn about some of the latest and coolest technologies in the market. This position will own and lead some of the projects that are currently live and others that will be developed soon.
Your Role Will Include:

• Creating and updating our APIs.
• Developing new products that align with business goals.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure that the best solution is selected for the problem at hand and creating a knowledge base for other developers.
• Improving the performance and usability of the product.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience with .NET Core.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with EF Core.
• Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and experience in leading architectural decisions for web applications.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and continuous integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Keen to learn and share knowledge with the team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with AWS services.
• Experience with Git Hub Actions for CI/CD.
• Experience with Docker for containerization.
• Experience with Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Experience with API design, documentation, scaling, and knowledge of real-time, event-driven, and streaming protocols.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to understand business drivers and make solid proposals for building new features or refining existing ones.
• Proficient in Scrum or Agile development environments.
• Experience with integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with both asynchronous and synchronous coding practices.
• Proficient with performance testing and memory tuning.

Bonus Points If You:

• Love playing with new integrations and experimenting with new libraries.
• Have experience working through the entire lifecycle of a feature (from ideation to delivery).
• Have a good understanding of web technologies and UI/UX standards.
