Job Description*
Tableau Developer must have strong experience in development activities such as creating business intelligence reports and data analysis. This individual will perform as a contributing member of EBIT Development Tableau team to handle development activities. This person must have strong professional consulting skills and the ability to communicate well with the stakeholders. Must have Tableau V 2020.x development experience in creating dashboards and visualizations. Good understanding of Tableau Architecture. Knowledge of Starburst and capability to manage Enterprise Starburst clusters to support Data Mesh and Data pipeline capabilities for various teams within the Bank.
Excellent communication skills (must be able to interface with both technical and business leaders in the organization). Excellent requirements gathering skills, ability to be a self-starter that can provide leadership. Comprehensive understanding of the Agile Development process

• Build comprehensive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop
• Perform development activities from gathering requirements and designing solutions, through developing code/reports, to testing and release / deployment
• Research and identify needs, goals, and business models by collaborating with the end users, stakeholders and support partners
• Expertise in Alteryx Designer including data blending, spatial analytics, Transformational workflows and predictive modeling capabilities
• Utilize Alteryx for data blending, cleansing, and preparation to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug Alteryx workflows, resolve performance issues, and optimize workflow execution.
• Strong understanding of container technology such as Openshift, including application management and development, Kubernetes
• Understanding of query performance and different ways to optimize, SQL tuning, SQL query skills and comfortable conveying complex concepts to non-technical Audience
• Version control management experience, managing and maintaining Git repositories, including branching, merging, and tagging strategies.
• Previous administration experience of tools/applications running on Open Shift/Kubernetes
• Considerable BI development experience / background
• Proven ability to independently champion business intelligence principles with business owners, application owners, data analysts and DBAs
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and documenting progress towards those deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (must be able to interface with both technical and business leaders in the organization)
• Comprehensive understanding of the Agile Development process
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

Responsibilities*

• Proven advanced skill and experience with Tableau development and administration with version 2022+
• Expertise in Alteryx Designer including data blending, spatial analytics, Transformational workflows and predictive modeling capabilities
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug Alteryx workflows, resolve performance issues, and optimize workflow execution
• Previous administration experience of tools/applications running on Open Shift/Kubernetes
• Candidates must have 12+ years of Business Intelligence experience
• Considerable BI development and Starburst Admin experience/background
• Proven ability to independently champion business intelligence principles with business owners, application owners, data analysts and DBAs
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and documenting progress towards those deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (must be able to interface with both technical and business leaders in the organization)
• Comprehensive understanding of the Agile Development process

• Certifications If Any: Good to have Tableau and Alteryx certification.
