Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Instructional Designer to join our team on a 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the higher education sector, with a strong understanding of instructional design principles and the ability to create engaging and effective learning content. Familiarity with the Indian education system and curriculum will be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design and develop instructional materials for higher education courses.
• Apply instructional design theories, practice, and methods to create high-quality educational content that aligns with learning objectives.
• Develop interactive and multimedia-rich content for digital platforms, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
• Review and revise existing content to enhance its instructional quality and alignment with educational standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, content developers, and graphic designers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and learning analytics.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in instructional design and higher education.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, with a strong portfolio of work in higher education.
• Deep understanding of instructional design models, such as ADDIE or SAM.
• Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess educational content and make data-driven improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of the Indian higher education system and curriculum.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Indian higher education institutions or curriculum.
• Familiarity with emerging trends in online education, including adaptive learning, microlearning, and competency-based education.

Contract Details:

• Contract Length: 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
• Location: Remote (India-based candidates only).
• Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.
