Job description

• Hands on designing and development of microservices as part of a development squad using Scrum/Kanban within a SAFe environment.
• Collaborating with existing IT systems to solve complex business solutions.
• holistic view of enterprise solutions, taking into consideration operational costs, security, performance engineering, application development, and systems management.
• Driving the quality and performance of owned micro-services, through the use of standards and best practices
• Establishing a culture of continuous improvement through learning, training and coaching
• Ensuring quality is at the heart of everything you and your team does
• Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs within a micro-services architecture
• a sound understanding of microservices and technology architecture but also very good communication skills, with the ability to adapted them to different audiences.
• Deep knowledge of Java frameworks like Apache Camel, Sprint Boot, Spring framework. (Spring Boot Web/Security/JPA)
• Knowledge of security systems like OAuth 2 and SAML
• Substantial experience in Scrum and developing through BDD/TDD, using associated tools for testing and continuous integration & deployment
• An ability to challenge others in doing what’s right for the business.
• A passion for finding solutions to problems that haven’t been solved before
• Experience with stream pipelines and data store technologies, including Mongo DB.
• Apache camel with Spring boot/Java Development experience
• Experience of Agile delivery methodologies, understanding of SAFe would be an advantage.
• Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence etc.
• Experience in Jenkins, Docker, AWS,
• Experience in tools like Splunk/Prometheus/Grafana/App Dynamics.
