Title Senior Manager Revenue, Sales and Assets COE
This role will be the steward of key company metrics - sales, assets, AUM and Revenue and Subadvisory revenue , owning the full cycle of reporting from infrastructure to data storytelling. This role will partner with our leadership team and work with teams across the business to drive actionable insights and business impact.Own the relationship with CFO Technology/ ISS /WPFH/Corporate enabler partners to ensure that Data Quality Controls / Assurance processes are developed in line with the ongoing evolution of processes that produce CFO Data within the Data Subject area. Own the Relationship with upstream Source Data / System owners outside of CFO, such as Fund Accounting / ICR teams, and facilitate the remediation of Source Data Quality issues that impact the CFO Data Subject Area.
- This role involves managing accounting and reporting of sub advisory fees flows calculations and reporting for complex fund structures. Active involvement in process re- engineering / transformation projects involving sub advisory fees
- People management and oversight [ Sales , Assets ,Revenue Reporting and Sub-advisory Revenue]
- Oversight of business deliverables transitioned to the COE (business finance deliverables for COE for India & Dalian)
- Onboarding key KPIs and reporting for New Products and Strategic Initiatives
- Providing functional [SME] expertise on the Sales and Assets data improvement program
- Driving global alignment across India and Dalian, ensuring that the team's efforts are aligned with the broader strategic goals of the organization
- More focused stakeholder management, including regular engagement with key stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver decision support
- Streamlining global processes and eliminating redundancies, identifying areas where processes can be optimized and driving the necessary changes
- Understanding the complex fund and sub-advisory fee flow structures of FIL
- Ensuring correct transfer pricing calculations sub advisory fees, accounting and reporting of global sub-advisory fee.
- Analysing Sub-Advisory fee and AUM trends and explaining variances
- Support group year end requirements
- Work closely with the global financial control teams across UK, Europe, Asia and Bermuda
- Liaising with various teams across the globe – Legal, Tax, TP, Risk on various sub advisory matters.
- Managing monthly stakeholder calls, sharing functional updates and resolving issues raised;
- Leading global projects and driving both system and process change proactively.
- Oversight and governance of EMIS Platform & key processes
- Recruit, train, develop and supervise cross functional team
- Partners with leadership, BU and sales leaders to synthesize key business questions, develop hypothetical solutions, analyse their feasibility and execute acquisition of data assets in support of Commercial Strategy
- Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget for EMIS portfolio and design/implement solutions to meet these needs
- Provides strategic direction on the evaluation, improvement, and development of functional capabilities relating to business performance, field insights, and data integration
- Identifies and develops innovative uses of existing/evolving data sources to drive speed-to-market and increase competitive advantages
- Work cohesively with Data Strategy leads and stakeholders across the globe to define EMIS data roadmap
- Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to various stakeholders
- Develop in-depth business, analytical, and systems knowledge to improve/build analytical solutions, approaches and business recommendations.
- Developing data visualization capability (Power BI, Tableau, Excel), and driving usage of analytic tools (R, SAS, JMP, Python, Spark) to grasp the business insights from our mountain of data
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams (Business, Finance, Marketing, IT, Sales)
- Seeks out alternative/creative ways of meeting an information need, considering new techniques to address business challenges
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
- Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyse business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
- Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
- Background 12-14 years of work experience in asset management industry with strong knowledge of markets and financial Services sector
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills coupled with strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Ability to use data and metrics to test hypothesis, confirm assumptions, generate insights/recommendations, and measure success
- Can partner across a wide array of internal business groups, executive stakeholders and execution partners with ability to build solid relationships with individuals at all levels.
- Self-starter with a strong passion for using data to influence business decisions and strategy investments.
- Proven impact and influence skills - ability to work broadly across disparate groups to gain agreement on direction, integrate disparate opinions into cohesive strategy/message and present/defend recommendations.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate uncertain situations to drive for clarity; work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-speed environment

- Experience of business finance roles and/or partnering internal clients would be an advantage.
