Senior Node Js developer

We are seeking a talented Node.js Backend Developer to join our growing team focused on building cutting-edge solutions for the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging ecosystem. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the backend infrastructure for our EV charging platforms. You will play a critical role in developing high-performance APIs, integrating various third-party services, and ensuring scalability and security of the system. This role is ideal for someone passionate about clean energy and innovative technologies that shape the future of transportation.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop highly scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems for EV charging platforms using Node.js.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs for communication between EV charging stations, mobile apps, and web platforms.
Develop microservices to handle different aspects of EV charging (station management, user authentication, billing, etc.).
Integrate backend systems with Io T devices (charging stations) and external services such as payment gateways, third-party APIs, and cloud platforms.
Ensure real-time communication and data exchange between EV stations and the backend infrastructure.
Implement security best practices, including data encryption, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and authorization.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance for scalability and reliability.
Collaborate with the frontend and mobile development teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to manage the infrastructure and deploy services efficiently.
Write and maintain well-documented, clean code, following best practices and ensuring code quality via testing frameworks (Mocha, Jest, etc.).
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Node.js.
Strong proficiency in Java Script (ES6+), Node.js, and an understanding of event-driven and asynchronous programming.
Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks.
Experience in building scalable RESTful APIs for real-time, distributed applications.
Familiarity with Io T device integration and data exchange protocols (MQTT, Web Sockets).
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their associated services.
Experience with databases (e.g., Mongo DB, My SQL, Postgre SQL) and proficiency in database schema design and optimization.
Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows (CI/CD).
Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms like OAuth 2.0, JWT.
Knowledge of load balancing, caching, and performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with payment gateway integration and managing secure transactions.
Strong understanding of data security, encryption, and privacy best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience with EV charging protocols like OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) and OCPI (Open Charge Point Interface).
Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
Understanding of Dev Ops principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Prior experience working in the renewable energy or electric vehicle domain is a plus.

Pay: ₹19,301.39 - ₹86,570.26 per month
