Host/Server
Job Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Host/Server where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Host/Server, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for greeting, seating, and assisting guests throughout their visit.
Duties:
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests
- Provide detailed information about daily specials, promotions, and menu offerings
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness, proper setup, and ambiance
- Process payments using the POS system
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for guests
Skills:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and handling
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash register operation
- Proficiency in Open Table or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
