Indy based contractor is hiring LOCAL AWS certified Welder/Millwright for their shop in Indianapolis to perform Mig welding on light to heavy fabrication.
AWS certified Welder/Millwright Duties:

• Perform industrial millwright maintenance in a steel mill
• Changing out cylinders and rolls making hose for hydraulics
• Experience cutting steel using acetylene or propylene torches.
• Works from sketches, prints, operation sheets, preliminary drawings, and written/verbal instructions
• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
• Builds up worn and/or defected surfaces.
• Other work may be assigned at Management’s discretion.

AWS certified Welder/Millwright Qualifications

• 3+ years of verifiable experience
• MUST have PPE hand tools including sockets/wrenches up to 1 1/4"
• Reliable transportation to and from job site
• OSHA 10 is a plus but not a requirement
• Welding certification required
• Must be able to pass a drug test

AWS certified Welder/Millwright Compensation/Benefits

• $26/hr
• M-F 40 hours a week
