ROLE DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and Marketing Support:
Support the development of RFP documents and present investment process and strategy as necessary in a due diligence process;
To provide product recommendations that would benefit from a particular market outlook, based on the research on macro and sector above, and inform Sales proactively of the recommendations;
To support marketing activities in terms of providing market outlook and updates to clients based on request from Sales;
Keeps abreast of product features, structure, and strategy of all the products in the platform, and be able to create product positioning for the products.

Market & Company Analysis: Responsible for carrying out research functions and analyzing macroeconomic conditions and industrial sectors; conduct research and analysis on securities in investment portfolios that are and/or will be used as investment portfolios; and create and document notes and reports on research results. To follow up and analyze relevant equity market structural and cyclical developments, including sector and index trends, and to analyze their driving factors. To determine and coordinate analyst output. To organize and conduct equity research exclusively and to present the results of this analysis in various forums within the BNPP AM (Investment Committee). Ensure that the entire analysis process complies with applicable regulations. Ensure that document notes and reports on research results are well documented;
Decision Making Process: To contribute to the decision-making process of the equity model portfolio;
Stock Recommendations & Portfolio models: To provide stock recommendations, create company reports related to stock recommendations, and generate new stock recommendation ideas.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Understand the investment essentials, macro, micro and the market. Ability to write reports and present them to clients (internal and external), with good written and oral communication skill. Preferably has PM/equity analyst/fixed income analyst experience;
Proficiency knowledge in the Asset Management business;
Proficiency in written and spoken Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) and English is a must;
Able to work in a team;
Have a WMI license; FRM or CFA charter holders will be preferred.
