DESIGNATION : Cyber Threat Intelligence Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Purpose
Support the collection, analysis, and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing and assessing cyber threats, including malware campaigns, phishing attacks, vulnerabilities, and emerging threat trends, to identify potential risks to the organization.
• Assist in the preparation and dissemination of intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations for stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and risk management.
• Support the collection and aggregation of cyber threat intelligence from various internal and external sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web monitoring, and threat feeds.
• Analyze cybersecurity data and logs to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs), patterns, trends, and anomalies that may indicate potential security incidents or threats.
• Conduct research on cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, threat actors, and attack techniques to stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the cybersecurity landscape.
• Overseeing Cyber Threat Intelligence activities
• Oversee the collection and aggregation of cyber threat intelligence from various internal and external sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web monitoring, and threat feeds.
• Risk/Findings audit to be fulfilled
• Ensure staff are informed and trained to support good corporate governance in their specific areas of work.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1 years experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or a related field
• Cybersecurity Experience: Prior experience in cybersecurity roles, such as security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is commonly required
• Relevant certifications Comp TIA Security+ are preferred.
