DevOps Engineer

Job Description: We are looking for a Dev Ops Engineer with a passion for automation, cloud infrastructure management, and CI/CD to join our team. You will work closely with developers and operations to ensure seamless deployment, scalability, and optimal performance, especially during peak loads. This role will involve hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools to maintain high availability for our applications.

- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, particularly during high-traffic periods.
- Optimize database performance for AWS RDS and other cloud-based services.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to optimize application performance.
- Implement best practices for security, scalability, and high availability.
- Document processes and provide improvements for faster issue resolution.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification.
- Experience with AWS RDS, Aurora, or other cloud-based database solutions.
- Exposure to load testing and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Git Ops and monitoring for cloud applications.
- Understanding of version control using Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Basic knowledge of networking, DNS, and cloud security best practices.
- Familiarity with AWS Lambda and Node.js for automation and serverless applications.
- Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a Dev Ops Engineer or similar role.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Git Lab CI.
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, Lambda, IAM).
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Watch) to maintain application uptime.
- Basic knowledge of Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Power Shell).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
