Position Title: RTR Specialist
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Working Hours: Monday - Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced RTR Specialist with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Record to Report process. The ideal candidate will have expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and a strong understanding of the RTR cycle. Fluency in both Mandarin and English (reading, writing, speaking) is required to support our global finance operations, particularly in dealing with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and managing financial documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record to Report Process Management:
Oversee and execute the full RTR cycle including journal entries, month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Financial Reporting:
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP/IFRS standards. Support external audits and internal financial reviews.
- Compliance & Controls:
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations. Maintain and monitor internal controls to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Account Reconciliation:
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Support efforts to streamline and improve reconciliation processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a key liaison between regional finance teams, including stakeholders in Mandarin-speaking regions, to ensure smooth and effective communication across teams.
- System and Process Improvement:
Identify and drive opportunities for process improvements within the RTR process, helping to increase efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting.
- Mandarin & English Fluency:
Provide financial reporting and support to both Mandarin and English-speaking teams. Prepare financial documents, reports, and presentations in both languages as needed. Fluent communication is critical for liaising with global partners, clients, and internal teams.
Key Requirements:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience:
3-5 years of experience in the Record to Report (RTR) process or similar accounting roles in a multinational corporation.
- Language Proficiency:
Fluent in Mandarin (read, write, speak) and English (read, write, speak). Must be able to prepare financial reports and communicate effectively in both languages.
- Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems). Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools are required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, both locally and globally.
