Description

HSSE Professional to act as a ‘trusted advisor,’ collaborating with HSSE Team, Supervisors and workers, as a critical partner providing recommendations with appropriate judgment on HSSE issues.
HSSE leader to support plant in the implementation of HSSE systems and safe work practices, aiming to cultivate a safe and healthy working environment, inspire employees, promote a culture of safety, trust, and care, and enhance environmental stewardship.
To set high safety standards by serving as an influencer and catalyst for change, and by fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirement

Available for: D3, D4, S1

Diploma/bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or related field.
Environmental Certifications is beneficial.
ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 Auditor (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HSSE in a manufacturing industry.
Collaboration, communication, personal performance, self-motivation and discipline.

Job Responsibilities

Support HSSE team in ensuring the plant operations meet all applicable safety regulations and standards requirements.
Support HSSE team in the implementation of a systems approach to health, safety, and environment in accordance with the International Standards, local HSSE regulations and best practices.
Support HSSE team and supervisors in conducting risk assessments, job hazard analysis and ensuring controls in place.
Support the plant in the implementation of emergency response plans. Coordinate drills and exercises to test emergency procedures and response capabilities.
Participate in investigations of incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
Support in the delivery of basic HSSE training including inductions to educate employees on safety protocols, procedures, and best practices. Ensure all personnel understand the potential hazards.
Conduct daily tours to ensure compliance with safety practices and company policies.
