Job Purpose
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing and executing the social media strategy for one of Team Liquid’s talents. The role involves content planning, script and storyline creation for endorsements, trend analysis, collaboration planning, and the day-to-day management of the talent’s social media accounts. The specialist will ensure that the content aligns with the talent’s personal brand and maximizes engagement while also providing monthly reports on content performance and traffic.
Main Accountabilities

• Develop weekly and monthly content calendars for the talent, ensuring consistent and engaging posts across all social platforms.
• Plan content around key events, endorsements, and personal milestones to keep the audience engaged.
• Create compelling scripts and storylines for endorsement content, ensuring they align with the talent’s personal brand and endorsement requirements.
• Collaborate with the talent to refine ideas and deliver authentic, engaging content.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, memes, and viral content, and identify opportunities to incorporate these trends into the talent’s content strategy.
• Suggest creative ways to adapt trending topics to fit the talent's image and audience.
• Identify and plan collaborations with influencers, artists, and public figures to expand the talent’s reach and visibility.
• Coordinate with potential collaborators to ensure smooth execution of co-branded content.
• Manage the talent’s social media accounts, posting content, interacting with fans, and ensuring consistent branding.
• Create monthly reports analysing the performance of released content, tracking engagement metrics, traffic, and audience growth.
• Use data insights to refine future content strategies and improve engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
• Experience working with influencers or talent management is a plus.
• Strong storytelling and scriptwriting skills.
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and content trends.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with tight deadlines.
• Creative mindset with the ability to adapt to changing trends.
