FPGA Engineer

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in FPGA development, digital signal design, and architecture definition to contribute to the design and implementation of complex systems. This role requires collaboration with a team of FPGA and Embedded Software engineers to achieve project milestones, from specification derivation to final product integration.

- Collaborate as part of a team of FPGA and Embedded Software engineers to meet project objectives.
- Analyze customer requirements and contribute to the derivation of technical specifications.
- Design and develop RTL using hardware description languages such as VHDL, Verilog, and/or System Verilog.
- Debug FPGA designs using simulation tools.
- Perform synthesis, place, and route for FPGA designs.
- Develop verification plans and execute verification strategies to ensure design functionality.
- Participate in the integration and debugging of the final product.
- Support technical reviews and present design progress and challenges to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of FPGA design experience.
- Proficiency in VHDL and/or System Verilog.
- Hands-on experience with FPGA development tools such as Questa, Visualizer, and Altera FPGA tools (Quartus, Signal Tap, System Console).
- Experience with PCM to Ethernet bridge design.
- Knowledge of bit synchronizer algorithms.
- Familiarity with RSSI measurement techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to present technical concepts effectively.
