Commercial Category Lead Taste Elevation

In brief, you will be assigned to lead these main areas of responsibility:

Define category Taste Elevation strategy for GDO, HD
- Category/brand development and P&L management
- Provide a category lens and strategic guidance for the business (both sell-in and sell-out)
- Manage and define a dual brand strategy for our leading brands Heinz and Kraft, with a strong exposure to Italy and abroad.
- Plan Go-To-Market on the basis of the key sales fundamentals execution drivers
- Enhance products visibility (on shelf and extra display)

Provide an analytical and concise guide for business
- Analyze root causes for category and brand development
- Lead internal performance review with senior management and board of directors
- Develop specifics action plan

Ensure proper execution of plans
- Track vs action plan and evaluate learnings
- Secure and challenge category forecast

Manage and leads internal reports and routines
- Manage key internal cross functional stakeholders (Marketing, RGM, Finance, Demand Planning, Sell out..)
- Manages and leads external relations with sales and customer meeting
- Develop the team to his maximum potential and growth
Hard and Soft Skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree
- +8 years of previous experience in Sales or Category roles
- RGM, finance, data analysis and/or consulting backgrounds will be positively assessed
- Proven track record of advanced analytical skills, problem solving as an owner, taking on entrepreneurial challenges and simplifying complex issues
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to lead in a challenging environment with international stakeholders
- Strong Project Management skillset; ability to demonstrate strong influencing and stakeholder development skills
- Deep knowledge of FMCG or Food&Beverage industry will be considered a strong added value
- Advanced technical proficiencies in Office (excel and power point)
- High proficiency in English is mandatory
- Proven people management skills
Communication Skills – you’ll easily be exposed to senior management, no matter your level. Therefore, it’s relevant you have excellent interpersonal skills, to deal with all kinds of different stakeholders.
