We are looking for a Commis de Rang for the next season (spring/summer 2025) to join our restaurant team.
The ideal candidate is open to new challenges and ready to constantly develop yourself further. He/she is willing to support the team to provide authentic and luxury dining experiences, demonstrating care, curiosity and community.

He/She should have customer service attitudes.
He/She reports to Chef de Rang.

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Fulfil the operations of the Food & Beverage outlets - La Terrazza Restaurant and Splendido Grill Restaurant - according to the Company policies, high standards and procedures.
• Clean and set-up floors, tables, chairs, linens, glass and silver for service
• Support the Chef de Rang with service
• Take care of the mise en place
• Monitor all aspects of the customers' experience, from the restaurant layout before they arrive to the experience they receive during the service. Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate Guests’ needs

Requirements:

• Effective communication: communicate clearly and in an appropriate manner (both verbally and non-verbally).
• Emotional intelligence: demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and emotions of guests and colleagues and adjust his/her style to them. Manage own emotions in challenging situations.
• Adaptability: identify when a different approach is needed and offer solutions. Try and adopt new ways of doing things.
• Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player e Share information and skills and actively seek and provide feedback.

Other requirements:

• Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred
• Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally
• Previous professional experience in a similar role, also with school internships
• References
• Fluent in Italian and basic level of English
• HACCP Certification
