Consolidated Financial Statement Specialist | Categorie Protette

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the preparation of the Prysmian Group’s consolidated reports, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial consolidation process and reporting.

Posizione:
We are seeking a Consolidated Financial Statement Specialist to join our dynamic finance team.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the preparation of the Prysmian Group’s consolidated reports, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial consolidation process and reporting.
Your key responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS/IAS standards.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Actively participate in the quarterly, half-year, and annual Group consolidation process, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, consolidation adjustments, journal entries, checks, and analysis.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Prepare and book monthly consolidation entries.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and the notes accompanying half-year and annual consolidated financial statements.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
- Support mid-year and year-end audits, liaising with external auditors.
- Implement and continuously improve controls for consolidated figures.
- Interact and guide affiliates during monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly closings, supporting them with group reporting.
- Assist various departments with special requests.
Requisiti:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience, preferably within a Big Four firm (Audit) or in the consolidated financial statement department of a multinational group.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS standards and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong desire to learn and continuously develop professionally.
