With this internship you will contribute and support the team to meet successful results in Research & Development projects development for our Transformer Business Unit in Monselice (PD).
The internship will be mainly in presence in our Monselice Technology center office: our attention therefore for a candidate who lives near this location or who has a car to be able to easily reach our office.
Job Description:
We are seeking an engineer or data specialist student to join our R&D team for an internship. The successful candidate will be engaged mainly to extract data from different data base or from electrical designs of power transformers. The preferable candidate will have a background data extraction or data collection in engineering field.
Your Responsibility:
- Develop simple algorithms (DB query, excel macro) to support the data extraction.
- Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
- Extract and manage data from different Databases.
- Resourcefulness in carrying out data collection activities.
- Interact and collaborate with colleagues from Italian Team, Global Technology Centers and Factories worldwide to collect the access of different DBs or transformer designs.
Your background:
- Degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or scientific area.
- Knowledge of databases access & queries (e.g., SQL server,) environment.
- Knowledge of R Studio and/or Python environment.
- Knowledge of MS Office especially Excel, Power BI (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of a 2D/3D CAD will be considered as a plus.
- Good knowledge of Italian and English.
