The opportunity:
You will be part of the international Finance team, working closely with your international colleagues in the Netherlands, UK, Denmark, Germany & France, and reporting directly to the Regional Manager Finance based in Italy.
The role includes reporting, tax and internal control activities in a very dynamic, international and professional environment!

Key Responsibilities

• Process AP invoices via our automated and AI-based ERP system
• Active role in the monthly closing activities and Balance Sheet, P&L and subledgers reconciliations and analysis for your respective countries
• Responsible for the annual account activities, including the support to the external auditors (KPMG NL and IT), resulting in the annual report document
• Execute internal control activities and advise the Senior Financial Accountant on improvement opportunities
• Responsible for the tax and other tax compliance activities in cooperation with our external consultants (i.e. VAT, Intrastat, CIT)
• Support the Sr. Financial Accountant on Budget and Forecast activities and ad-hoc business analysis
• Realization of the personal and team goals, formulated at the beginning of the fiscal year

We perfectly match if you:

• have +3 years of experience in an international accounting department.
• have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, but if you think that you have what it takes to get the job done, please don't hesitate to apply.

• enjoy being hands-on and improving processes.
• enjoy manipulating numbers and systems & work accurately.

and you

• live within max 50km of our office in Venice.
• have a good command of Italian and English.
• are proficient in MS Office.
• are used to work with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion Cloud would be a plus).
• are well organized, multitasker and a self-starter with a ''can do'' attitude.
