To continue driving our mission forward, we are looking for a Head of Finance to join our team.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO TAKE CARE OF
Financial Strategy & Planning

• Develop and lead the financial strategy across multiple markets, ensuring alignment with global objectives and overseeing cross-border financial operations, tax laws, and compliance across jurisdictions
  
• Drive the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) following Italian GAAP and IFRS.
  
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to internal controls.
  
• Provide regular performance reports, including financial dashboards, KPIs, and variance analysis to both local and global leadership teams.
  

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with taxation, labor laws, and corporate governance across multiple countries, including VAT, income tax, and other global regulatory requirements.
  


• Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company's financial integrity and security.
  
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure proper financial oversight and controls.
  

Treasury & Cash Management

• Manage multi-country cash flow, liquidity, holding treasury, foreign currency risk, and hedging strategies, while optimizing the company’s financial position globally and negotiating complex financing agreements.
  
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, investors, and financial authorities to ensure alignment with strategic financial goals and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead the finance team of 8 people in Italy, ensuring a high standard of financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  
• Foster a collaborative, international mindset within the team, encouraging best practices from global finance operations.
  

WHAT WE WISH YOU’D BRING WITH

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CPA, or similar certifications preferred.
  
• 8+ years of relevant finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  
• Proven experience in international finance, including familiarity with cross-border financial operations, tax laws, and regulations.
  
• Strong understanding of Italian GAAP and IFRS.
  
• Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within a multinational organization.
  
• Solid knowledge of systems and other financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  
• Excellent communication skills, both in Italian and English.
