Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

Join the Amaris Consulting talent network as an IT/IS Project Manager in the Payment Processing and E-commerce sector - Fullremote from Italy!
What will you do?

• Lead rollout and design & build projects, specializing in payment processing technologies, including Pay Pal, credit card integrations, and banking systems.
• Implement and manage complex payment solutions, focusing on the integration of Pay Pal as a payment gateway in e-commerce platforms and other payment systems.
• Coordinate global IT projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and adherence to budgetary guidelines, with budgets exceeding €300k.
• Manage project governance, applying Agile and PM-certified methodologies to deliver high-quality digital e-commerce solutions.
• Prepare and manage Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to evaluate vendor capabilities and ensure the best solution for each project.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and timely project delivery.
• Ensure proper risk management and mitigation strategies are in place for each project phase.
• Provide regular project status updates to key stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends, specifically in payment processing and related technologies, to ensure continuous improvement in project execution.

✍️ What do we request?

• Proven experience (5+ years) in IT project management, with expertise in payment processing, particularly in integrating and managing Pay Pal, credit card, and banking solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, systems analysis, or related field.
• Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, SCRUM, or Agile) and a background in content management systems and global retail/commerce services.
• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce technologies, particularly payment gateways like Pay Pal and related tools for global retail & commerce services.
• Ability to manage large-scale projects, ensuring all project milestones are achieved on time and within scope.
• Strong experience in preparing and managing RFPs, vendor selection, and negotiating contracts.
• Proven experience in managing diverse IT projects across different technologies and platforms.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a global environment, managing virtual teams and international stakeholders.
• High-level organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Empathy and adaptability in managing various stakeholders and team dynamics.
