Description

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Logistics who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa or Naples or Tu, Italy.

Accountabilities:

Warehouse processes implementation;
Ensure the issuing of the purchase requests and Service Entry Sheets for Direct and Indirects purchase orders;
Reporting activities;
Support Supply Chain Management in the the management of HRSTS materials on stock at suppliers premises;
Ensure Import and Export activities with Logistics Providers;
Maintain communication with transport service providers to place transport orders, receive confirmation, monitor important milestones and receiving necessary documentation;
Plan and optimize deliveries (considering transport modes: Air, Ocean, Road);

Required Skills/ Knowledge:

At least 3 years of experience in the role;
Knowledge of SAP and experience with Microsoft Office;
Experience in logistic and warehouse management;
Experience in Vendor rating and suppliers monitoring;
Experience in Reporting;
Experience in Cost Controlling & Budgeting concepts/basics;
Logistic and warehouse management
Organization & Company Processes knowledge

Education / Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree or equivalent technical background;

Languages:

Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken);
