Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Logistics who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa or Naples or Tu, Italy.

Description
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Logistics who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa or Naples or Tu, Italy.

Accountabilities:
- Warehouse processes implementation;
- Ensure the issuing of the purchase requests and Service Entry Sheets for Direct and Indirects purchase orders;
- Reporting activities;
- Support Supply Chain Management in the the management of HRSTS materials on stock at suppliers premises;
- Ensure Import and Export activities with Logistics Providers;
- Maintain communication with transport service providers to place transport orders, receive confirmation, monitor important milestones and receiving necessary documentation;
- Plan and optimize deliveries (considering transport modes: Air, Ocean, Road);
- At least 3 years of experience in the role;
- Knowledge of SAP and experience with Microsoft Office;
- Experience in logistic and warehouse management;
- Experience in Vendor rating and suppliers monitoring;
- Experience in Reporting;
- Experience in Cost Controlling & Budgeting concepts/basics;
- Logistic and warehouse management
- Organization & Company Processes knowledge
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent technical background;
- Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken);
