Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist reporting to the Head of Human resources will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and the related tasks for all employees of the Head Quarter in Italy. The Payroll Specialist will collaborate with various departments to resolve payroll-related issues and provide excellent customer service to employees.
Main activities & accountabilities:
Review and verify of: timesheets of the stores, attendance records, vacations, submission of medical certificates, maternity and parental leave, training hours, and other documents.
Data collection for payroll processing: employee invoice balances, fines to be charged, expense report reimbursements, salary changes, cost center changes, bank details.
Relations with payroll providers, employment agencies and social care providers.
Preparation of employment contract, activation of internship, letter of salary increases and promotion.
Managing hiring and termination procedures.
Management of employee accident insurance policies, including calculation of the benefit to insert in the payroll.
Management, and payment of employee pension funds and executive funds.
Personnel budget and forecast with connecting payment provision;
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and other personell administrative topics.
Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll processing.
Requirements:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Knowledge of SAP and Zucchetti payroll system will be considered a plus
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
