Raw Material Purchasing & Procurement Intern

We are looking for a dynamic and engaged Raw Material Purchasing & Procurement Intern to join Purchasing Department in our offices in Milan.
In this role, you will support the team in the following activities:
- Assist in supplier sourcing: research and identify potential suppliers for raw tissue materials based on cost, quality, and reliability.
- Order tracking and follow-up: track orders, ensure timely delivery, and resolve any issues related to delivery or product quality.
- Coordinate with internal departments: collaborate with production, logistics, and quality control teams to align purchasing decisions with operational needs.
- Administrative tasks: handle administrative duties related to procurement, such as filing documents and maintaining databases.
- Textile background and basic knowledge on sales management
- A dynamic, pragmatic and quickly adaptable approach to work
- Good use of computer tools such as Excel (knowledge of PLM and Stealth is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a predisposition to work in a team complete the required profile
