Role reports to: Fem Care R&D Deployment Manager
Location: Pomezia - Santa Palomba [Italy]
What you will do
The R&D Deployment Scientist - Fem Care will take part in projects linking production at the Pomezia site to brand strategy, targets, and problem resolution methods with demonstrated rigor and deep organizational knowledge whilst embedding sustainability into all actions.
This role will deliver technical expertise in Engineered Products / Feminine Care products for our project execution with human-centered insights and cross-functional collaboration.

Role reports to: Fem Care R&D Deployment Manager

What you will do
The R&D Deployment Scientist - Fem Care will take part in projects linking production at the Pomezia site to brand strategy, targets, and problem resolution methods with demonstrated rigor and deep organizational knowledge whilst embedding sustainability into all actions.
This role will deliver technical expertise in Engineered Products / Feminine Care products for our project execution with human-centered insights and cross-functional collaboration.
Project execution
- Develop a technical expertise in engineered product
- Operate with support/ under technical direction
- Participate in pipeline activities
- Participate in technical project work including scale-up activities and analysis with hands-on involvement
- Participate in cross-functional project team discussions defining and coordinating deliverables (e.g.: R&D, Business and Supply Chain…) and to define project resources
- Connection with end-to-end R&D functions defining the execution pathway and ensuring deliverables remain on track and support technical problem solving
- Draft and execute peer reviewed manuscripts, tech reports
- Follow standards and quality, medical and regulatory requirements.
Technical Understanding
- Develop understanding of engineered product technology and manufacturing expertise of Feminine Care products.
- Support on engineered materials to meet cost objectives and to manage availability of raw materials.
- Monitor equipment operations and maintain cleanliness in the laboratory. (if applicable)
- Develop awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential applications on our brands and products.
- Coordinate day-to-day interaction with regional Hubs and/or external development partnerships (as needed)

- Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science
- 1 year of related professional experience is required.
- Good understanding of engineered products is required, together with Project Management.
- Fluent written and oral English communication skills are required.
- Understanding of Gx P and Regulations are preferred.
