Sales Executive Italy (m/f/d) - Industrial packaging automotive - Home Office

Our client is a medium-sized, family-owned Swiss industrial packaging company with around 500 employees and production facilities in Slovakia and Tunisia. The brand is well known in the European automotive industry for its technologically advanced textile packaging products for automotive parts.
The company operates in Europe and North Africa and is looking to expand its business into Italy. Therefore they are looking for a
Sales Executive Italy (m/f/d) - Industrial packaging automotive - Home Office
Objectives and responsibilities of the role
You will have the opportunity to develop the Italian market from the scratch, with great autonomy.
Reporting directly to the Group CSO, you will represent the company and its products and services in Italy, with an initial focus on automotive customers (with given supplier numbers and brand visibility).
Your role will be to bring sales to a solid and achievable level, as the company has done in other European countries. You will assess the current needs of automotive customers (OEM and Tier 1-3) and follow a defined sales process with buyers, often including product demos and presentations.
You will also identify new leads and develop new customer segments (e.g. white goods, aerospace, transport of dangerous goods) using market research, comprehensive data analysis and a structured sales process.
You will be supported by and collaborate with all company functions at the Swiss headquarters and the Slovakian and Tunisian production sites.
Skills and qualifications required
You are a sales professional with several years of experience and have already achieved good results with industrial customers, preferably in the automotive or packaging industry.
You must be highly motivated, have a strong drive to achieve sales targets and be able to work independently from your home office.
You are proficient in structured sales techniques, market research, data analysis and the use of CRM systems (here: SAP). You are also able to write concise and accurate reports, proposals, and other required documentation for the Headquarter
You are fluent in English
You have a clean Driving Licence
You are willing to travel within Italy, occasionally to the Swiss HQ and the production sites in Slovakia and Tunisia
