Senior Accountant GL

Aptuit (Verona) Srl is seeking a skilled GL Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. Reporting to the Head of Accounting Italy, he/she will be responsible for managing journal entries, asset and intangibles accounting and accounts reconciliations, across two legal entities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Fixed asset accounting
  • Intangibles and IFRS16 accounting
  • Account analyses and reconciliations
  • Posting of provisions and accruals
  • Support in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and ITA GAAP
  • Support in the preparation of reporting package for the Group
  • Support in the statutory / fiscal periodical tasks
  • Audit support (internal and external audits)
  • Control owner for some SOX controls
Ideal Qualifications:
  • University degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • 5+years experience in Accounting
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Experience of working in an international environment
  • Experience in Controlling department is a plus
  • Experience in auditing firm is a plus
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Business fluent in English
