About this opportunity
We are now looking for a committed and motivated Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our organization in Rome (Italy). As a core member of our sourcing team, you will report to the ‘Head of MA ICT Consultancy’ and you will drive profitable business for Ericsson through proactive supplier development and management in accordance with the Global Sourcing Strategy for the Categories involved (R&D; IT Consultants; System Integration), customer, stakeholder & business needs in the Market Areas where you will be involved.
You will qualify and negotiate supplier agreements for the purchase of Services, while actively managing the supplier relationships considering business contribution, performance and risk in line with your responsibility for the commercial agreements.
Our focus is on lean and agile ways of working. We organize in multi-functional/multi-national teams where diversity, knowledge sharing and collaboration create true innovation.
This role is involved not only in CU SEM business but also at Market Area level in other Countries, managing remotely Strategic Sourcing Manager duties.
What you will do

What you will do
- You will lead, prepare & execute the RFX process, working closely with Sourcing team members and our Compliance Officer
- You will evaluate and select and manage suppliers in line with our supplier strategy; corporate and Compliance requirements .
- You will conduct supplier negotiation aligning the line of responsibility in Sourcing organization
- You will ensure supplier agreement implementation
- You will contribute to the long-term business
- You will contribute to the Category strategy definition and implementation.
- University Degree
- Domain experience: System Integration Services; IT Consultancy Services, Telco Processes knowledge
- English language professional level B2 & Italian native language.
