The company specializes in providing semiconductor test and inspection handlers, micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) test modules, semiconductor automated test equipment, test subcontractors, and thermal subsystems. Position Summary:
The Accounting Manager will serve as the primary English-language contact for both the local and corporate Finance teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. This role is responsible for overseeing the local Finance team, providing strong technical financial expertise, and mentoring team members to foster their professional growth.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
· Finance Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the local Finance team and corporate Finance team, facilitating English-language communication to ensure accurate and timely financial information sharing.
· Financial Analysis & Reporting: Provide strong finance technical skills to deliver in-depth financial analysis, reports, and insights as required by both local and corporate stakeholders.
· Team Leadership: Oversee and manage the local Finance team, ensuring effective operation of accounting functions and adherence to corporate financial policies and local regulations.
· Mentorship & Development: Mentor and coach the local Finance team, offering guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and professional development.
· Compliance: Ensure financial activities are compliant with both corporate policies and local regulations, including accounting standards and tax laws in Japan.
· Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the local Finance team to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Requirements And Qualifications :
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, etc.) preferred.
· Proven experience in a managerial accounting role.
· Strong financial technical skills, particularly in analysis and reporting.
· Fluent in English; Japanese language proficiency is highly advantageous.
· Experience in mentoring and leading teams.
· Strong knowledge of local Japanese accounting and tax regulations.
