The Conference Setup Coordinator is responsible for organizing and managing the logistical setup of conferences and meetings. This role involves working closely with high-level clientele to ensure all technical and physical elements of events are executed to perfection. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and resolve any issues that may arise during the event setup process.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the setup of conference rooms, including seating arrangements, AV equipment, and materials
- Liaise with high-profile clients to understand their specific event requirements and preferences
- Ensure all technical components (audio, video, lighting) are functioning smoothly
- Manage on-site logistics and handle last-minute adjustments with professionalism
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to guarantee timely and efficient setups
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a seamless experience for clients
- Experience in event coordination or similar role
- Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in dealing with executive-level clientele
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in AV equipment setup and troubleshooting
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
