Manage a team of experienced engineers (including external contractors)
Drive delivery, operational, and architectural excellence
Establish a technology roadmap aligned with our product roadmap and growth goals
Evolve our talent and resourcing strategy within the engineering space that matches our needs
Make build or buy decisions to deliver capabilities that allow us to become a leader within our industry
Oversee our controls and governance standards in close collaboration with our teams from compliance, legal, risk, security, and Product and Data functions

10+ years of experience building B2B/B2C Saa S applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, preferably in the HRTech, Ed Tech, or enterprise Saa S space
3+ years of leading a team of high-performing software engineers, preferably in a CTO-like role within a Series A-D start/scale-up with demonstrated results
You have experience in forward-planning and optimising an engineering budget based on a company's growth strategy and budget constraints
You possess an understanding of modern software architecture patterns for both Saa S and mobile applications
You understand how to lead and inspire others
You have experience designing and architecting large-scale systems based on domain-driven design (DDD) and test-driven development (TDD) principles
You are comfortable with using data to make informed decisions
You are comfortable with speaking and presenting in English at a professional level

You have a profound understanding of what enterprise customers would typically ask for in enterprise software at the pre-sales stage
