Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Specialty Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare services to our patients. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our pharmacy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications, including specialty medications
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
- Manage inventory and stock medications
- Process insurance claims and handle billing procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications:
-Previous experience at CVS or Walgreens
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to communicate clearly with patients and prescribers over the phone
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (Preferred but not required)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
-Spanish language preferred but not required
