The Arc Westchester is a leading social services agency in Westchester County, New York. We provide services to more than 2,000 people with I/DD (Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities) through innovative community-based residential and day programs that foster independence, productivity, and participation in community life.
We are seeking motivated individuals who are interested in a unique entry-level opportunity to obtain advanced training in behavior analysis while providing direct supports to adults with IDD in various settings by assisting them to gain independence and meet their goals and dreams. Specific to this position, The Arc Westchester provides all of the requirements (i.e., training, assessment, exam fee, and supervision) for acquiring and maintaining the RBT credential.
The Arc Westchester is a BACB Approved Continuing Education Provider and is able to provide on-site supervision to employees pursuing their BCBA and/or LBA!

Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with a nationally certified behavior analyst (i.e., BCBA, LBA) to:

• Collect and summarize behavioral data
• Conduct preference and functional behavior assessments
• Implement and monitor person-centered evidence-based behavior support plans
• Assist with staff training as needed or requested on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

· Provide direct support and instruction in a responsible, respectful, and caring manner.
· Maintain open communication with individuals, families, other providers, co-workers, and supervisors.
· Drive in a safe manner meeting all applicable laws and maintain vehicle in good working condition.
· Complete all services in accordance with relevant regulations.
Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED and/or HHA/CNA Certifications in lieu of HS Diploma. (Certifications can be expired)
• A valid NYS driver’s license for a minimum of 2 years.
