At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. As part of our Climate Pledge we’re inventing solutions to eliminate carbon emissions, achieve full circular economy, educate our associates and build robust sustainable processes in our Fulfillment Centers. To achieve this, we need exceptionally talented, bright and driven people.

Our team is looking for a talented, motivated, and self-directed Business Analyst to join our Circular Economy team. Data analysis is at the core Amazon’s culture, and your work will have a direct impact on decision making and strategy for our team. You will be gathering insights, mining data, making recommendations, and helping senior leaders make key business decisions. You will have the opportunity to dive into multiple areas within sustainability, with a focus on Circular Economy. In particular, you will generate insights and drive initiatives focusing on performance management of Circular Economy goals, waste data integration and improvements, provide recommendations for initiatives and own your strategic projects. We expect the candidate to visit waste vendors and our sites to identify issues and drive improvements. The candidate will also have close interaction with central teams (EAP, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, PR/ER, Tech, WW Sustainability and Engineering) and external stakeholders (Vendors).

The preferred candidate should be based in Luxembourg (open to London, Paris, Madrid, Milan) and have experience in business analytics, preferably within the sustainability space.
We are looking for someone with a broad technical background in data analytics, strong business acumen, who takes ownership of their work, and is focused on customer needs. The successful candidate will communicate crisply in non-technical terms to senior management. They will have an ability to make data-driven conclusions and will be comfortable with ambiguity while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The candidate will also need to be a collaborator who can work with multiple internal and external teams to define and implement solutions that will yield benefits to Amazon customers around the world.
