Ampacet products are used in applications ranging from packaging, sporting goods, home decor, cosmetics and beauty to appliances, automotive, healthcare, 3D printing and aerospace. We partner with our suppliers and customers to create masterbatch formulations that help bring products to market quickly. Ampacet’s global and multidisciplinary teams offer in-depth technical, analytical and color-matching support as well as on-site troubleshooting services and prototyping.
Founded in 1937, Ampacet operates 25 manufacturing sites in 18 countries. We also have four research and development centers, two in the Americas, one in Europe and another in Asia, and we sell our products in more than 90 countries.
For our headquarter office based in Dudelange, we are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative.
Primary Function:
Under the supervision of the Regional Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for a portfolio of existing customers. He or she will contact, develop and implement sales plans to meet sales goals. Activities include developing and maintaining effective relationships with corporate partners, making recommendations for improvements, and generating business to grow company revenue. Active prospecting and customer development will also be an important part of this role. Position does not require travel as most of the transactions will be remotely.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Regional Manager to formulate the annual sales budget for a portfolio of existing customers and to define action plans that will result in the achievement of the objectives;
- Manage a portfolio of existing customers in contacting them on a regular basis;
- dentify sales opportunities through regular communication, basic technical information and appropriate price quotations;
- Work closely with Sales Team, Customer Service, Technical Service and all pertinent Ampacet personnel to develop new sales projects;
- Update the CRM system after each call including Visit reports, potentials and sales pipeline. Effectively communicate progress;
- Know customer products and process capabilities, key contact, previous sales results and products purchased for all accounts to allow value-added selling;
- Explore and identify niche opportunities to grow the business;
- Apply pricing policies established by the Sales Management and maintain special pricing within these guidelines according to product, quantity and customer considerations;
- Perform all other additional projects and duties as assigned by the management.
Education and experience:
- Bachelor / Master’s degree or equivalent experience (Sales, Marketing, Business Administration).
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position (ideally in the Plastic’s Market).
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up and organizational skills;
- Master of various selling best practices, including phone sales technique;
- Interested in technical matters ;
- Computer literate;
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory. French is a plus.
