We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise within our hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure that all items are properly marked, stored, and delivered to the appropriate departments, maintaining inventory levels, and adhering to food safety standards.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise within our hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure that all items are properly marked, stored, and delivered to the appropriate departments, maintaining inventory levels, and adhering to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and stage merchandise by department.
- Mark items appropriately for placement in the facility.
- Deliver merchandise to the appropriate department.
- Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts.
- Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
- Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner.
- Date, label, and rotate all items according to company standards.
- Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures.
- Maintain sanitation standards of the food storeroom and walk-ins.
- Inspect deliveries to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality.
- Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
- Organize, clean, and sanitize all storage areas.
- Handle spills and ensure safety in the storage areas.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Support the team to reach common goals.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
- Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
