Job Description

Responsibilities:

Transaction Processing: Handle inter-office and inter-bank transactions involving forex exchange, lending, borrowing, securities, and Islamic-related products.
Message Monitoring: Monitor and verify Swift Confirmation messages (MT300 & MT820).
Change Reconciliation: Ensure accuracy and consistency of daily/monthly brokerage charges by comparing them against contract notes and statements.
Payment Settlement: Process domestic (MYR) payments through the RENTAS system for both Conventional (BOTKMYKX) and SPI (BOTK9999) accounts and settle foreign currency payments between financial institutions using the BESS system.
Securities Settlement: Facilitated the settlement of MYR securities through the RENTAS system and foreign currency securities through the Facility Agent.
Regulatory Compliance: Actively participate in the RENTAS DR exercise, ensuring adherence to BNM BCM guidelines and requirements.
Project Involvement: Contribute to Parent Bank/BNM projects and other ad-hoc initiatives, internal improvements, or system enhancements.

Requirements:

Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Financial Services or the Treasury Operations field. Fresh graduates will also be considered.
Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook etc).
For Communication skill, we prefer candidates who have good command in English proficiency, while Mandarin/Japanese may be advantages only.
