• Responsible for preparing and cooking of daily meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) for approximately 80 - 100 people.

DETAILS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and serve food for all the residents, trainees, students and staff of the Home
• Ensure food is prepared and handled in a hygienic manner
• Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and wash all utensils after cooking
• Dispose all unwanted waste matters into the proper garbage bins
• Inform the Warden of any shortage of ingredients or any required items immediately
• Adhere to all the kitchen safety rules and regulations
• Attend professional training for continuous development of knowledge and skills to further improve on the Kitchen Management.
• Other duties/tasks may be assigned from time to time as required by the Home

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum PMR/SPM academic qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in related field.
• Good cooking skills and able to cook for large groups of people according to the requirements given.
• Able to speak in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing to work on rotational shift, weekends and public holidays.
• Willing to be based in Penang.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
