What role you will play in the team

• You will be an integral part of our rapidly growing process engineering team providing technical leadership and insights from a process technology fleet perspective and support to Exxon Mobil’s manufacturing facilities globally
• You will be crucial in establishing a strong culture of collaboration with manufacturing facilities to sustain operational excellence with a standardized corporate approach
• Position is based in Kuala Lumpur
• This position is not limited to Malaysians only

What you will do

• Be the subject matter expert on Distillation, Hydroprocessing and/or Reforming technologies for the Kuala Lumpur Technology Center (KLTC), providing process engineering technical support to Exxon Mobil’s global manufacturing facilities
• Proactively engage with various global interfaces in Exxon Mobil to identify opportunities and propose innovative solutions to drive business value
• Lead deployment of fleet initiatives across Exxon Mobil’s facilities for profit margin improvement, energy and OPEX efficiencies
• Streamline and standardize work processes to improve manufacturing technical support delivery effectiveness
• Provide key input to skill development programs to accelerate competency building
• Drive functional excellence by promoting continuous improvement of standards, cutting-edge tool and practices
• Serves as a functional mentor for junior engineers and provide technical credibility for organizational competency development

About you

• Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Preferably 15 years of experience working in a refinery
• Process technology experience in Distillation, Reforming, and / or Hydroprocessing.
