Be You:

The Banquet Captain will demonstrate the following key characteristics:

• Ability to communicate clearly and openly, creating an atmosphere of mutual trust and teamwork.
  
• Projects great energy.
  
• Demonstrates superior knowledge of banquets and events execution and operations.
  
• Exaggerated attention to detail and ability to train and drive staff to excellence.
  
• Proven ability to effectively lead in a variety of situations with guests and operational needs, flexible leadership style.
  

Master Your Craft:

• The Banquet Captain supports the Assistant Meetings and Events Manager in planning, organizing, controlling, and directing the work of employees in Meetings and Events to ensure guest satisfaction. This role involves supervising and participating in the setup and clearing of china, glass, silver, linen, tables, chairs, and props for events, as well as attending to guest needs and requests.
  

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and SOPs
  
• Understanding of F&B Operations, including service, cost control, and maintenance
  
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and people-management skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with lean resources
  
• Proficiency in operating computer equipment and F&B systems
  
• Proactive, hands-on, and able to work autonomously
  
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented approach
  
• Ability to anticipate and prioritize guest needs
  
• Flexibility to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays
  

What you will do:

• Ensure proper setup, breakdown, and cleaning of event spaces
  
• Participate in food service during events
  
• Supervise operations in the absence of the manager/assistant manager.
