As part of the Corporate Information System team you will be involved in global activities such as:
o maintenance activities of the network infrastructure, on-premises datacenter, telecom systems, ensuring reliable, secure and cost effective delivery of services to the Business
o new Corporate IS initiatives and projects,
o evaluating new technologies and defining architectures and IS standards
You will be the Corporate IS point of contact for the local business at the Mexican facilities, supporting the local Helpdesk team.
Supervisor, Location and Contract
Corporate Infrastruscture & Cybersecurity Coordinator
Mexico (Puebla/Tehuacan with possibility of fully remote working)
Possibility to be hired in our Mexican plant or to collaborate as a consultant
Main responsibilities
- Overseeing assigned projects, coordinating internal resources and external consultants, ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Help defining technical requirements for new hardware and software
- Support local Helpdesk team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues when they arise.
- Support international plants (mainly in Americas) to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues when they arise.
- Monitoring systems in the existing global network, ensuring efficient operation
- Implementing best practices to guarantee system security
- Anticipating potential issues or bottlenecks and identifying possible solutions.
- Stay up to date on technology developments and propose innovative solutions using knowledge of a wide range of available technologies
- Installing and configuring operating systems and application software.
- Help in designing the global network architectures, system improvements and defining IS standards
- Communicating effectively with the headquartered team
Required skills and education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information systems, engineering or related field.
- At least five years of experience in administration of:
· Complex WAN network infrastructure and routing protocols
· Server and infrastructure equipment
- Deep Knowledge and experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting the following systems:
· VMWare based virtualization
· Microsoft Windows (client and server)
- Deep knowledge and expertise in
· best practices and IS tools to monitor, manage and guarantee high cyber security level
· Active Directory and GPO
- Project management, ability to work under stress, meeting assigned deadlines, proactive approach, ability to work independently but as part of an international team, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willingness to travel, good communication skills (written, verbal, and face-to-face), excellent English is mandatory, strong interpersonal skills to interact with different teams
