Field Service Engineer

Field service engineer is responsible to respond to customers calls and complete technical services tasks such as equipment installation, debugging, programming and commissioning, calibration tasks, corrective maintenance, and other duties as assigned. Instruct customers how to operate equipment, and perform operator level troubleshooting all this related to wire harness automation equipments.
Functions:
  • Troubleshooting problems
  • Responsible for the implementation of equipment improvement and on-site training.
  • Task scheduling at each job site
  • Ensure proper adherence to facility safety requirements
  • Creating in-depth technical reports
  • Provide technical support for equipment maintenance and customer inquiry.
  • Keeping track of parts inventory
  • Quick response to customer service request and maintain good customer relationship
  • Responsible for solving mechanical related issues of the automation equipment, issue recording, feedback and lesson learned.
  • Assist designer or customer to analyze the issues and provide solution.
Requirements:
  • US VISA Required
  • English intermediate (ability to communicate with technical team)
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients
  • Driver's License
  • Good working knowledge of computer software and hardware (PLCs, drivers, HMI)
  • Task management and organizational capabilities
  • Availability to travel inside Mexico and around the world (NA, LATAM, ASIA, Europe)
  • Mechanical and Electronics abilities
Education Requirements:
  • Electromechanical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer or related
  • 1 years experience (or above) in mechanical debugging or maintenance of customized automation equipment.
