Position Overview
Responsible for overseeing and directing all production activities to ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and production objectives met. Their leadership is crucial for effectively coordinating human, material, and technical resources, ensuring optimal production and customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Develop strategic and tactical production plans in collaboration with other departments, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market demands.
- Establish efficient production programs, allocating adequate resources to meet delivery deadlines and quality standards.
- Supervise all production operations, including raw material handling, manufacturing process, and packaging of the finished product, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement techniques to optimize operational efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Lead and motivate the production team, providing direction, training, and professional development to maximize team performance and morale.
- Promote a safe and collaborative work environment, fostering open communication and effective conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with the quality department to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations at all production stages.
- Implement quality control systems and conduct regular audits to identify and correct quality deviations.
- Oversee inventory management of raw materials and finished products, ensuring adequate stock levels to maintain production continuity.
- Coordinate with the logistics department to plan and optimize material and product flows.
- Minimum education: bachelor degree in industrial engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in similar positions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team of production workers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
- Solid problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions in dynamic environments.
- Requires several years of experience in production roles, with demonstrated leadership experience.
- 90% English proficiency.
- SAP system.
- Advanced Excel.
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, production management systems, and lean manufacturing practices.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality control measures.
- The ability to analyze production problems and develop effective solutions to improve efficiency and address challenges.
- Competence in managing multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring that production schedules met within established deadlines.
- Deep understanding of safety standards and best practices.
