Assist the Social Media Manager to identify, conceptualize, design & execute campaigns to boost engagement, educate & inform your audience about products, services and company programs. A Social Media Coordinator will help create content calendars, develop and distribute text and video-based content, monitor social media channels and support promotional and marketing efforts.
What does a Social Media Specialist do?
The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic, and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing road map.
Social media specialists should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging in those channels. You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and “soft selling” the product by providing support to current and prospective customers.
Responsibilities

• Social Media Coordinator supports the digital media staff to develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement and increase revenue.
• Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
• Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites
• Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets
• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
• Support marketing team in setting up quarterly business reviews with existing clients
• Direct sales support of some product lines like gmail, fax, and wordpress

Requirements
An ideal Social Media Coordinator will have an in-depth knowledge of social media platforms. The intern will be comfortable creating and managing multiple social media accounts, developing content to inform, educate and engage the brand’s audience to increase awareness and achieve marketing goals. An exceptional candidate will have a working knowledge of the major content management systems and social media analytics, and be experienced in running targeted ads on social media sites.

• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Curious and able to explore and use AI tools to help generate content
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Fluency in English

Enrolled in or already have a BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $128.00 - $170.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
